WIP - Fox I've been wanting to paint a fox for a very long time. Here is his progression. First, his shape a bit roughly...
I painted his eyes and muzzle first because I like to have a bit of a face on him, I find it motivating... ;)
Iève added some colors and values, very veyr roughly...
And blended those colors and values a bit...
Very progressively and slowly I started adding details to his fur, here mostly on his face and chest...
And on the rest of his body...
And again, from head to tip of the tail, some more detail in the fur while trying to add a bit more light and shadow... Oh yes! His paws! Because he has four of them hey? ;) In fact, they were there from the beginning and followed the same progression, I just forgot to make the layers for his right paws visible when I made the previews for this wip...
Still more details in the fur and I've corrected his chest because it bothered me a bit... Added the whiskers...
Still more light and shadow, not obvious, but it's there...
Corrections of small details and I added a small décor with the rock and grass... And that's it! :)
