WIP - Born of the Moon I first created the girl in Poser, only her and her wings, no jewels, no hair... This is the result...
I'm not to impressed with the wings as they are so I whiten them a bit, added some feathers and soften them little so they'll look more like feather and less like something cut out of paper...
The let's do the hair... That's the part I find the most difficult, I always have a hard time with hair... I also added a bit of shadow under the wings.
Still some more work on the hair to give it shape and I modified that big thingie on her back at the base of the wings because I find that kinda weird looking...
I add the earrings and the beads in her hair with some more touch up on the hair to make it look like it's tied in places by the beads. I also paint the feathers on her ear.
And bracelets on her wrist and ankle...
Now I think I can start working on the background... Something cloudy like with a big mon behind her...
I add the reflection of the moon...
And then her relection but it looks a bit strange with the sort of line where she touches the water...
So I soften that a bit as well so it all blends in better...
Only need to fiddle a bit with the light, contrast etc and we have the final result... You can see it bigger in the Art gallery...
