We went for a Sunday afternoon walk and to look for some geocaches. We found a nice little trail not far from home. The trail went right to the river. We had a good afternoon and we even found a few caches.

Dimanche apres midi, Nous sommes allés faire une marche pour chercher quelques Geocaches. On a trouvé un petit sentier pas tres loin de chez nous. Le sentier nous a emmené tout pres de la riviere. En fin de compte un bon apres-midi au grand air a chercher quelques Geocaches.

Kayaking / Geocaching / Kayaking / Geocaching… Do you see the pattern? I will have to break that pattern as I am going back to work tomorrow. In the meantime I had a perfect weekend. Just to tell you how good it was, I am going back to work more tired than when I started the weekend. That says a lot, I am sunburnt, tired and twisted my knee today, so really all beaten up but really content of all the things I did.

Talking about Geocaching, I did find my 300th today, the grand total is 305. 103 Geocaches for the month of May and 48 during the week end.

This morning Vincent and I went out and did a few, just enough to get over the 300. Tonight during supper time we had rain, that stopped just after supper, so we left and went to find a Geocache that was hidden near a waterfall.

What a nice place, took lots of photos, but unfortunately due to the fact that it was late, the ambient light was really dim. So only a few came out good.

All that to say that I had a good week-end and will need the week working to get over it

Kayak / Geocaching / Kayak / Geocaching … Voyez-vous la repetition? je vais devoir brisé tout ca, car je retourne au travail demain. En attendant, j’ai eu une parfaite fin de semaine. Juste pour vous dire comment c’etait bien, je retourne au travail plus fatigué que quand j’ai commencé la fin de semaine. J’ai pogné un coup de soleil, je suis fatigue et me suis tordu le genou aujourd’hui, faque je suis vraiment magané, mais en même temps vraiment content de tout ce que j’ai fait.

Ce matin Vincent et moi sommes partis et on en a trouvé quelques unes, juste assez pour depasser le 300. Ce soir, durant le souper on a eu une averse, qui s’est arrêté juste après le souper, donc on est parti pour trouver une Geocache cachée tout pres d’une chute.

Quel bel endroit, j’ai pris beaucoup de photos, mais malheureusement, parce qu’il était tard, la lumière ambiante était vraiment faible. Seulement quelques photos on bien sorties.

Tout cela pour dire que jai eu une bonne fin de semaine et je vais avoir besoin de ma semaine de travail pour m’en remettre

And yes another day outside. The plan this morning was to go to McAdam. Vincent had noted a Geocache that was on an island and so far no one had found it. So we had a chance for a first to find. We packed all the kayaking gear, put both kayak on the roof and off we went.

Along the way we stopped a few times for Vincent to do some Geocaches, Lucie and I had found these ones last week.

We arrived at our destination about a hour and a half later. It took us some time to find a good spot to launch our kayaks. Vincent and I went for the Geocache while Lucie stayed behind.

We paddled for 6 kms to the island. All the way in we had the wind against us and we had to work extra hard. It is not easy to try to keep up with a 20 year old. It is in these occasion that one finds out that he is not as young as he used to be. All that I am saying is that I had lot of exercise for one day.

We arrived at the island and found the Geocaches without any problem, however we were beaten by a few hours, someone else had already found it “today”…

We were not the first to find it, however we still had lots of fun.

So another good day, kayaking / geocaching / photography, all that in beautiful weather. Tomorrow Vincent and I are going Geocaching once more, I am trying to get to 300 geocaches found.

Et oui une autre journee au grand air. Le plan ce matin était d’aller à McAdam. Vincent avait remarqué une Geocache qui se trouvait sur une île et qui n’avait pas encore été trouvée. Donc, on avait la chance d’etre les premiers a la trouver. On a tout emballé l’equipement de kayak et on as mis les 2 kayaks sur le toit de la voiture et on est parti pour la grande aventure.

Apres 1 ½ de route on est finalement arrivé a destination. Ca nous a pris un peu de temps pour trouver un endroit ou lancer nos kayaks. Vincent et moi sommes partis pour faire la Geocache, Lucie de son coté est restée a nous attendre.

On a pagayé jusqu’a l’île, environ 6 kms. Durant tout le trajet on avait le vent dans la face, faqu’on a du travailler un peu plus fort. C’est pas evident d’essayer de suivre un jeune de 20 ans. C’est dans ces occasions que je remarque que je ne suis plus aussi jeune que je le pense. Tout ce que je veux dire, c’est que j’ai fait beaucoup d’exercices pour une journée.

On est finalement arrivé à l’île et on a trouvé la Géocache sans aucun problème, mais on s’’est fait battre par quelques heures, quelqu’un d’autre l’avait déjà trouvé “aujourd’hui” …

On etait pas les premiers mais on a quand meme eu beaucoup de plaisir.

Donc une autre bonne journée a faire: kayak / geocaching / photographie, tout ca dans une temperature tout simplement parfaite. Demain Vincent et moi, on va encore faire du Geocaching, je veux essayer de depasser les 300 caches trouvées.

Well another day outdoors, we left in the morning and spent the whole day looking for Geocaches. It involved lots of driving but that’s alright, it gave us a chance to visit the area. The weather was extremely nice and according to the weather channel it was suppose to be 30, it certainly felt like it. In total we found 25 new Geocaches, we also got a nice sunburn and a lot of fresh air. So another good day.

The plan for tomorrow is to go geocaching but this time with Vincent, he has a few that he wants to find.

Et bien un autre journee à l’extérieur, on est parti ce matin et on a passé la journée entière à chercher des Geocaches. On a fait beaucoup de voiture, ca nous as donné la chance de visiter un peu la region. La temperature etait parfaite et d’apres la meteo il devait faire 30 cette apres midi. En tout cas il faisait chaud et je me plains pas. Au total, on a trouvé 25 Geocaches de plus. On a fini avec un coup de soleil et beaucoup d’air frais. Donc, une autre bonne journée.

Le plan pour demain est encore d’aller faire des Geocaches, ce coup-ci avec Vincent, il y en a quelques-unes qu’il veut trouver.
