Wow, 4 days off for Easter and everything started very well. Last night after supper Lucie, Alain and myself went Geocaching. There are 2 night geocaches in the area and we had to try that. It goes like this: you go to the location and then you follow small reflectors on trees until you get to the destination. It need to be done at night with flashlights. All that to say that we had lot of fun looking for them and avoiding water puddles in the dark.
Today was a gorgeous spring day, sunnny and about 19 degrees. So once again we went geocaching. We spend the whole afternoon doing a trail and we found 11 geocaches.
It was so nice to take advantage of the outdoors after being in the house all winter. Lot of fresh air and fun. We saw some local wildlife, groundhog, squirrels.
The plan tomorrow is to get the kayaks wet… We are going to the same location we went today but this time on the water. The weather is supposed to be really nice again tomorrow. First time kayaking this year, can’t wait. We might even do some geocaches that are on an island and only accessible from the water. I will let you know tomorrow.
Wow, 4 jours de congé pour Pâques et ca a très bien commencé. Hier soir, après souper, Lucie, Alain et moi-même sommes alléa faire du Geocaching. Il y a 2 caches de nuit dans le coin et on a decidé d’essayer ça. Ça fonctionne ainsi: On se rend à l’emplacement avec l’aide du GPS, et puis on doit suivre des petits réflecteurs sur les arbres jusqu’à ce qu’on arrive à destination. Ça doit etre fait de nuit avec lampe de poche. Tout cela pour dire qu’on a eu beaucoup de plaisir tout en évitant les flaques d’eau dans le noir, pas evident.
Aujourd’hui c’etait un vrai jour de printemps, du soleil et environ 19 degrés. Alors on a donc decidé d’aller faire du geocaching. On a passé l’après-midi dans un sentier et on a trouvé 11 geocaches.
C’était tellement le fun de profiter du plein air surtout après avoir été enfermé dans la maison tout l’hiver. On a fait le plein d’air frais. Nous avons vu quelques animaux sauvages locaux, une marmotte et quelques écureuils.
Demain on prevoit aller se promener en kayak … On va aller au meme endroit ou on est allé aujourd’hui, mais cette fois sur l’eau. On prévoit du beau temps demain. Première fois en kayak cette année et j’ai bien hate. Il est aussi possible qu’on fasse quelquse geocaches qui sont sur une île et accessibles seulement à partir de l’eau. Je vous en reparle demain.
