If you expected your children to be perfect right from the get-go, perhaps you're not ready for the whole 'parent' thing. ;) I could easily talk about how frustratingly patronizing my parents get when my social life comes up (and yes, it is still a social life, people on the internet are still people), but I keep my mouth shut.
