I am on a plane with Lucie and we are on our way to Halifax.  It is 06:00 am, way to early to be out of bed.  We had to get up at 03:00am, then drive from Rocky Harbour to Deer Lake.  What I am thinking right now is that they better serve coffee on this airplane.

From Halifax we will be taking another plane to Fredericton.  We are on our way to Oromocto for our house hunting trip.  We have 5 days to find one.

They are coming with the coffee so I’m going to put down the laptop and get back at it later.

We just arrived in Halifax.  We had a bumpy landing,   the pilot had to try to land twice due to the wind and rain conditions.  But we made it.  First thing to do upon arriving at the airport was to go outside and get a smoke, then we found a Tim Horton’s and we got a coffee.  Now the worst part is that we have to wait for 4 hours for our flight to Fredericton.

We are not meeting our real estate agent before tomorrow.  So this afternoon we are planning to go do some driving around and see what the area look likes. I will try to keep you updated of what is going on during the week.  In the meantime, I am going for another coffee and another smoke.

Je suis sur un avion avec Lucie et on est en route pour Halifax. Il est 06h00, c’est vraiment trop tot pour etre deja sorti du lit.  On as du se lever a 03h00, ensuite ca ete la conduite de Rocky Harbour à Deer Lake. La seule chose a quoi je pense a ce moment, c’est qu’ ils ont besoin de servir du café dans cet avion.

Une fois rendu a Halifax on va devoir prendre un autre avion pour Fredericton..  On s’en va a Oromocto a la recherche d’une maison.  On a 5 jours pour en trouver une.

Bon bien il s’en vient avec le café, je vais ranger mon ordinateur et continuer plus tard.

On vient tout juste d’arriver a Halifax. On a eu un atterrissage mouvemente.  Le pilote s’y est repris a deux fois pour atterrir, a cause du vent et de la pluie.  La premiere chose qu’on a fait en arrivant c’est d’aller dehors pour une cigarette, la deuxieme chose a ete de trouver un Tim Horton pour avoir un café qui avait du bon sens.   Maintenant, le pire, c’est qu’on va devoir attendre 4 heures pour notre vol vers Fredericton..

On ne va pas rencontrer notre agent immobilier avant demain. Donc, cet après-midi, on va aller se promener un peu pour voir le coin.  Je vais essayer de vous tenir au courant de comment ca se passe durant la semaine.   Je pense que je vais aller me chercher un autre café et aller me fumer une autre cigarette.

I went to work this morning to a depressing view. Imagine, Thanksgiving week-end and we had snow on top of the hills. Some of my driving today took me on top of south east hill, the highest road section in the park. Everything was snow covered, slushy and slippery. I am not ready for that yet. But to look at the good side, it make pretty good scenery photos.

I didn’t update the blog as much as I would have like lately, it is just too busy at work and too much things to think about for the transfer. I will keep you updated. In the meantime I will be looking for my snow tires.

Qand je suis parti au travail ce matin, je suis sorti dehors avec une vue pas mal deprimante. Y pensez-vous?  La fin de semaine de l’action de grace et on a de la neige en haut des montagnes. Durant la journee ma conduite m’a emmené au sommet de la colline South East, le bout de chemin à l’altitude la plus élevée dans le parc. Tout était couvert de neige, de slush et c’etait glissant. Je ne suis pas prêt pour ca encore. Mais ca a un bon cote, ca fait des photos de paysage pas mal belles.

Je sais, dernierement, je n’est pas mis à jour mon blog autant que j’aurais aimé. Je suis trop occuppé au bureau et j’ai trop de choses a penser pour le transfert. Je vais vous tenir au courrant de ce qui ce passe plus tard. En attendant, je vais essayer de trouver mes pneus à neige.
