Car vs Moose / Auto vs Orignal
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009What every parents don’t want to hear… Last night I received a call from Vincent. The phone reception was terrible and could barely understand what he was saying to me. I knew from the tone of his voice that there was something wrong. I finally was able to understand, “moose, accident”. I am sure that my heart skipped a few beat. Especially since I responded to several moose vehicle accidents in the past week. At that time everything went through my head.
I picked up a car from work and went directly to the accident scene. The very good news is that neither Vincent nor his friend who was in the car with him were injured. They were pretty shaken up and had few minors cuts and bruises, but other than that, they are both fine. (Thank god)
The car has some damages. Broken side passenger window, dent in the side. Nothing that can’t be fixed. Besides Vincent was able to drive the car home.
All that to say that it is not a good feeling. I am used to attend accident scenes but this one was different, believe me.
A part avoir ete secoues et quelques bleus et coupures ils etaient corrects. (Merci Seigneur!)
