There is nothing really new. I worked all week and we were quite busy. I didn’t have time to take photos. The only photos I took were some of the fog caught on the trees in the hills. I had 16 photos of the same thing and I had to choose one for the photo of the week, I didn’t have much choice.

In my spare time I am working on a few small projects for my blog. The first one is updating my photo gallery. The new gallery will be more like a photo blog. It is kind of a long process, I had to go back through all my photos and choose the ones I wanted. Then I had to resize them and get them ready and finally I had to upload them on the web. The only thing I have left to do is upload the photos for 2009. I will let you know when it is all done.

The second project is kind of a surprise so I am not talking about it just yet.

So it is about it, nothing really new. The countdown for back to school is on. I am quite happy about this, however the kids are not…

Y’a pas grand chose de nouveau. J’ai travaille toute la semaine et on a ete tres occupe. Je n’ai meme pas eu le temps de prendre de photos. Les seules photos que j’ai prises etaient des photos de brumes sur la cime des arbres dans les montagnes. J’ai eu 16 photos de la même chose et j’ai du en choisir une pour la photo de la semaine, je n’ai pas vraiment eu de choix.

Ces temps-ci, dans mes temps libres je travaille sur quelques projets pour mon blog. Le premier est de changer ma galerie de photos. La nouvelle galerie va etre plus comme un blog de photo. C’est pas mal long a faire, j’ai du regarde toutes mes photos et choisir celles que je voulaient. Ensuite, j’ai eu à les redimensionner et les préparer et finalement les envoyer sur le web. La seule chose qui me reste à faire est de charger les photos de 2009. Je vais vous laisser savoir quand tout est fait.

Le deuxième projet est une surprise, faque je ne vais pas en parler tout de suite.

Il y a donc pas vraiment grand chose de nouveau. Le compte à rebours pour la rentrée scolaire a commencer. Je suis pas mal content mais les enfants eux le sont moins …

Genesis – I Can’t Dance

For a change, the weather was nice while on my day off. Lucie and Vincent were working and Kim and Alain were in their room. So I loaded the kayak on the top of the van and got all my gear.

At noon, I gave Vincent a ride to work and I was on my way. I decided to go to Rocky Harbour pond.

I paddle around the pond, took me about 1 ½ hours.

What a nice day. I took all my time and enjoyed it to the maximum. I took few photos and even did some videos.

After returning home, I told Alain and Kim that I would bring them swimming. So we went back to Rocky Harbour pond where they were able to cool down a bit.

If the weather is cooperating tomorrow I am planning to do the same thing. This time I will take Alain and Kim when I leave, so they will have plenty of time for swimming while I am having fun with my kayak.

So I had a really good day.

Pour changer, la temperature etait de mon cote durant ma journee de conge. Lucie et Vincent travaillaient et Kim et Alain etaient dans leur chambre. J’ai donc mis le kayak sur le toit de la van et pris tout mon equipement.

A midi, j’ai emmener Vincent a l’ouvrage et je suis parti. J’ai décidé d’aller a l’etang de Rocky Harbour.

J’ai fait la circonference de l’etang, ce qui m’a pris environ 1 heure et demi. Quelle belle journee. J’ai pris tout mon temps et j’en ai profite au maximum. J’ai pris quelques photos et même quelques vidéos.

Lorsque je suis retourne a la maison, j’ai emmene Alain et Kim pour se baigner. On est retourne a l’etang de Rocky Harbour étang ou ils on ete capable de se rafraichir un peu.

Si demain la temperature est encore de notre cote, je vais faire la meme chose. Ce coup-ci, je vais emmener Alain et Kim en meme temps que moi, ils vont pouvoir se baigner pendant que je me fais du fun avec mon kayak.

En fin de compte une tres bonne journee.
