I went to see the Orthopedist yesterday, guess what, I am on light duty for another month. Not good.

Today was a beautiful summer day. We dropped the kids to school and then Vincent to work. Then we left for the Lomond River trail. Two reasons we chose to do this trail. First there was a Geocache on the trail that we had never found before.

We tried to find it some time ago but we got surprised by the rain. So we had to try again. This time we found it, no problem. The second reason is that this is one of our favorite trails in the Gros Morne park.

On the way back we did the South East fall trail. This is a small little trail that brings us to guess what?  A waterfall, what else…

So all in all it was a real good day outside of the house.

Je suis alle voir l’orthopediste hier, devinez quoi?  Je suis en travaux legers pour un autre mois.

Aujourd’hui c’etait une belle journee d’ete. On a emmene les enfants a l’ecole et ensuite Vincent au travail. Tout de suite apres on est alle faire le sentier de la Riviere Lomond. On avait deux raisons pour faire ce sentier la. Tout d’abord il y avait une Geocache en plein milieu qu’on n’avait pas trouve encore.

On avait essaye de la trouver il y a un bout de temps. Mais on s’etait fait surprendre par la pluie. Il nous fallait donc essayer de nouveau. Cette fois, on l’a trouve sans probleme. La deuxième raison, c’est que c’est une de nos sentiers preferes dans le parc de Gros Morne.

Sur le chemin du retour on a arrete pour faire le sentier des chutes de South East. Il s’agit d’un petit sentier qui nous ont emmenes a des chutes….

Donc en fin de compte on a eu une bonne journee a l’exterieur de la maison.

I worked all day. In the meantime, Lucie picked up Vincent in Corner Brook today. He will be staying with us for a little while as he is starting his new job tomorrow in the park. Until he gets a vehicle he will be with us, which is fine with me as he will not have to drive back and forth everyday to Corner Brook. It is a 1 ½ drive (3 hours both ways) in a moose infested area.So they got back this afternoon. Right after supper Vincent loaded both kayaks on the van and both of them went for a little evening paddle. I am jealous, not able to go kayaking and even worst working while they do. I can’t wait to be able to do the same thing. They even took photos….

I am a kayakoolic going through withdrawal symptoms right now. In the meantime I am watching kayak videos on youtube.

J’ai travaille toute la journee. Pendant ce temps-la, Lucie a ete chercher Vincent a Corner Brook. Il va rester avec nous pour un petit bout, il commence son nouvel emploi pour le parc demain. Jusqu’a ce qu’il se trouve un vehicule, il va rester avec nous, en fin de compte c’est bien, je trouve ca bien comme ca il n’aura pas a conduire tous les jours, aller et retour a Corner Brook. Il s’agit d’une conduite de 1 ½ de route (3heures aller-retour) dans une zone infestee d’orignaux.

Donc, ils sont arrives dans l’apres-midi. Juste après le souper Vincent a mis les kayaks sur la van et ils sont partis faire du kayak. Je suis jaloux, pas capable de faire du kayak et en plus je travaillais. Je ne peux pas attendre d’etre capable de faire la meme chose. Ils ont meme pris des photos, les baveux.

En attendant, je suis entrain de regarder des videos de kayak sur youtube. Je suis un kayakoolique en manque.

I worked last night til 04:00 am, for some reason this morning I was up at 09:00. Couldn’t sleep. It was a nice day, warm with a little bit of fog.

Right after my second cup of coffee, I asked Lucie and the kids if they would go for a drive. They all said yes. So off we went. We drove until 12:30 and took all kinds of photos.

Talking about photos, I will now have a “photo of the week”. I am trying to find new ideas for my blog and that is one of the ideas I came up with.

Another idea is to write up a top 5 list every so often. Why not top 10 list like everyone else? I am too lazy and 5 seems to be a good number.

J’ai travaille hier soir jusqua 04:00am, mais pour une raison quelconque, j’etait debout ce matin a 09:00. Pas capable de dormir. C’etait une belle journee chaude avec un peu de brouillard.

Juste apres ma deuxieme tasse de cafe, j’ai demande a Lucie et aux enfants s’ils voulait faire une promenade en auto. Ils ont tous dit oui. Donc on est parti. On s’est promene jusqu’a 12h30 et on a pris toutes sortes de photos.

En parlant de photos, je vais maintenant avoir une “photo de la semaine”. J’essaie de trouver de nouvelles idees pour mon blog et c’est une des idees que j’ai eu.

Une autre idee serait de faire une liste de “top 5″ sur n’importe quoi, de temps en temps. Pourquoi pas une liste de top 10 comme tout le monde?  Je suis trop paresseux et 5 semble etre un bon numero.
