Marc's Ripples – Marc dit Vagues

We ended up not going for a drive on Wednesday, the school was close that morning and the weather was terrible. So we just stayed home and relaxed.   

Thursday we went to Corner Brook. We had to be there by 07:00pm as Vincent was participating in a French speak off. On the way in we saw a moose, he was right in the middle of the road and did not know where he wanted to go, he hesitated for few minutes going right and then left and then right again. While he was trying to make up his mind, the traffic behind, me included was waiting to see what would be the decision and hopefully get on their way.

After going around Corner Brook to find the school where the event was taking place, we arrived in time. Vincent did very well in his presentation and even managed to get first place in his category. Which means that he will be heading for the provincial competition in May. That is in St John’s.

On the way back we had some freezing rain, not too nice.

And finally, what I was not looking forward to happen, I am back to work for a while….

En fin de compte on n’est pas allé faire une promenade en voiture mercredi. L’école était fermée a cause de la temperature donc on est resté a la maison et on a relaxé.

Jeudi nous sommes allés a Corner Brook. On devait etre la pour 07:00 P.M. parce que Vincent participait a un concours d’art oratoire en francais. En y allant on a vu un orignal qui etait au plein millieu de la route. Il ne semblait pas savoir quoi faire. Pendant qu’il essayait de se decider tout le trafic etait derriere a attendre impatiemment pour sa decision.

Après s’etre promener dans Corner Brook un peu pour essayer de trouver l’ecole ou le concours avait lieu, nous sommes finalement arrivé à temps. Vincent a tres bien fait ça, il a eu la première place dans sa catégorie. Ce qui fait qu’on va devoir aller a St-Jean au mois de mai pour le provincial.

Pour le retour a la maison on a eu droit a de la pluie verglassante, pas trop le fun….

Et pour finir, c’est le retour au travail pour un bout…
