Marc's Ripples – Marc dit Vagues

It’s been snowing for the past 2 days almost non stop. The winter is here and here to stay. With it my chances of going on the water just dropped considerably. Some people do go on kayak during winter, I don’t have enough experience yet and don’t have the proper equipment to do so. So now I have to resign myself and wait for the spring. All this snow will also make it harder to go out on trails as they are not maintained during the winter. So what’s left, is shoveling, taking photos from the side of the road, staying home watching tv and surfing the internet. In the meantime I will be dreaming of nice sunny days with calm water. At least there is a good thing about all that, Vincent is all happy as he will be able to go and try his snowboard. You can’t please everyone….

I am still working on the new blog. This is a work in progress as I find new things, experiment with other, (most of the time it don’t work). It is not the software that are at fault it is me. Being new at all this there are several thing that I haven’t grasped yet. So please be patient with me.

Il a neige durant les deux derniers jours presque sans arret. L’hiver est arrive et j’ai bien peur qu’il va rester ce coup-la. Avec tout ca, mes chances d’aller sur l’eau viennent de diminuer considerablement. Il y a du monde qui vont en kayak en l’hiver, malheuresement je ne suis pas encore assezr experimente et je n’ai pas non plus l’equipement pour pouvoir y aller. Je dois donc me resigner et attendre au printemps. Avec toute cette neige ca va etre difficile aussi d’aller faire des sentiers parce qu’ils ne sont pas entretenus durant l’hiver. Faqu’il ne reste que le pelletage, prendre des photos du bord de la route, demeurer a la maison, regarder la television et aller sur l’internet. Je vais quand meme rever de journees ensoleillees et d’eau calme. Au moins il y a quelque chose de bien avec tout ca, Vincent est aux petits oiseaux, il va enfin pouvoir essayer sa planche a neige. Le malheur des uns fait le bonheur des autres.

J’essaie toujours d’ameliorer mon blog. C’est un travail sans fin, je trouve des nouvelles choses a rajouter, je les essaie, les retire, fais des experiences avec d’autre. (La majorite du temps ca ne fonctionne pas comme prevu). C’est pas de leur faute mais plutot la mienne. Comme je suis nouveau avec tout ca il y a encore pas mal de chose que je ne comprend pas. Il faudra etre patient avec moi.
