Who am I?

I don't find it easy to talk about myself, but here I go! I'm a 40 year old mom of 3 children, Vincent (17), Kim (14) and Alain (11). I've been married for 16 years now to the most wonderful and caring man on Earth. Yes, really! So to the women out there who may still be looking for him, you can stop now, he's already taken... ;) (Apparently I need to rectify this a little... I was just told that according to aunt Henriette, my uncle Simon isn't that bad at all either but... he's already taken too... ;)I also need to add that I didn't actually hear it from my aunt's mouth, this news came from uncle Simon... maybe I should ask for a signed confirmation... lol )

My first language is french, you've probably noticed that already, but I manage in english well enough I think... I am originally from Montreal but we moved to Newfoundland 16 years ago. Though we miss our family and friends from Quebec, Newfoundland is a beautiful province, the newfoundlanders are extremely friendly and we enjoy living here a lot. I have studied arts and litterature for a couple of years back in 83 to finally turn to graphic arts (my true passion) that I studied for the three following years. Back then (Why do I feel old saying this???) the computers were not in the graphic department of the college I went to and it's only 11 years ago that I really discovered this wonderful little machine! What I know on the computer I learned by myself with the help of tutorials found online and by playing with the various programs, experimenting, sometimes swearing, and I'm still learning... But the computer doesn't scare me as much as it used to and I can now consider it like a working tool at the same level as the pencil or the brush.

My hobbies? The internet of course, drawing (the traditional way...) nature, reading (I can't live without a book to read...) photography... :)What I like? My husband and my kids, honesty, respect, sense of humor, punctuality, sensitivity, open minds, learning, I think I will never know enough! Experimenting, trying new stuff though I don't always seem to find the time to try all that I would like to try. I dislike braggarts, people who think they are the belly button of the world, spiders and anything that is small, has more than 4 legs and crawls, abuse, hypocrisy, racism, drugs, to stay in the dark and ugh... housecleaning...
